Singer Dee, Richie Spice salute mothers

Recording artiste Singer Dee has released the ultimate ode to mothers with his latest single, ' Treat Mama Good', featuring reggae stalwart Richie Spice.

"This song is about taking care of your mom when she's alive, giving her the 'flowers' when she is alive, before it is too late," Singer Dee explained. Working with Richie Spice for the first time, the connection between both artistes took a few years to materialise, resulting in a high-quality production that was well worth the wait.

"I had the song and I thought [Richie Spice] would be perfect for it, so I made a connection through a friend, and he was so receptive and upbeat about the song. We met at the studio the next day, he had recorded his part as well, and everybody was so receptive," the singer said.

The official music video was released on September 7 and has been met with a positive reception. With its powerful message, the song is bound to take flight and leave a lasting impact in the music scene.

"Everyone who has heard the song, they love it. From the radio to social media to the streets, it's getting a lot of attention, even reaching countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, United States and Canada. I think the message is really resonating with the people because it's positive, and I'm feeling good about it so far," Singer Dee said.

With his previous releases, including Ten Toes, Travel Fox and Another Quarrel, Singer Dee has proven himself as a mainstay whose brand is set to make waves. He is gearing up for more new music in the coming months into the new year, and several upcoming performances in Canada.
